Game Four Recap

Played a good game this week. A few quick observations:
  1. My feet feel like a jackhammer was applied directly to my heels.

  2. Todd's header and Pup's sweet hustle play taking the ball on the end line and cross was keepin' it real. It made us look like a professional team without the pay.

  3. Coach #10 Pele Julio helped with the subbing while serving his red card suspension.

  4. #19 looked like Ron Mexico.

  5. #33 and #34 must have had 35 headers between the 2.

  6. Clay played a good game at keeper.

  7. Dave had a sweet, bending goal to tie the game at 1 once he decided to quit shooting from our 18.

  8. It was good to see all the families at the game. We need to get Daddy Franchise back out here.

  9. In spurts, we passed the ball pretty well. Definitely had moments of rustiness, but we recovered well today.

We may need the rainout this week after St. Patrick's Day festivities. Please be careful this weekend.

  1. Pup had the cross to Todd on that goal...prior to the cross, the ball was straddling the end line.
Thought we deserved the win...had way more quality chances than Aladdin's Lamp, which by the way was the nices team we've ever played.
    Other observations:
    Brian White fell alot.
Brady always gets into it with an opposing player.
    Tutt is a Hoss!
The first 15 minutes of substituting was chaos.
We had a ton of corner kicks, which means we are applying pressure.

    Franchise out!

  2. "Brian White fell alot."

I did feel like someone kept pulling the flying carpet out from under me all game. Huhh.......... nothing...... anyone, flying carpet.......still nothing..... oh well, it's funny to me.

Clay kept us in the game, and Todd won it for us. Way to not give up team!

One of my three wishes after the game was for us to win again next week.
